The Hammer Straight- Indigo One Wash 10.5oz Selvedge

Our premium denim is inspired by the classic vintage blue jean. Our Premium Japanese 4-Way Stretch Selvedge denim story starts in Japan where our fabric is developed at one of the oldest denim mills. We blend a unique 4 way stretch material with selvedge denim to create a specific amount of stretch and comfort you wouldn’t typically get with selvedge denim. This 360 degree of stretch gives the wearer comfort from every angle no matter what they are doing.

Our 4-Way Stretch selvedge fabric is weaved using vintage shuttle looms. Rolls of denim fabric are then brought into our workshop in Los Angeles where each pair goes through a 60 to 90 day process of cut, sew, washing and testing. With 4 fits available in multiple weights (see fit guide) and washes, the style options are endless.

Crafted with intention, our denim is made using premium Japanese 4-way stretch selvedge in our Los Angeles workshop. Our denim goes through a time consuming 50 day process from start to finish to ensure the highest of quality. Built using only the best available hardware with traditional machines and techniques, you are getting a true vintage inspired piece with a modern upgrade of comfort.

Some suggestions

Love the 4-way stretch in 10.5 oz material. Solid built and comfortable. However, the thigh area could have a slimmer silhouette if the fabric had a better stretch (by increasing the 4% polyurethane content and reducing the cotton content).

OK fit

The fit was bulkier than i anticipated. Doesn't sit all that well on my body compared to other Hiroshi Kato jeans

Very Happy with the feel and fit but durability is questionable

I have been wearing the pants for 3 weeks. Love everything about how they fit and feel. My criticism is with the durability of the denim. I fell while wearing them and the denim torn around the knee area. My guess is that the elasticity really compromises the strength of the denim. Would love for these jeans to fade with the years but don't believe they will make it.

Great fit and great feel as well

This jeans fits and feels wonderful. As a heavy set guy it’s not easy to get premium jeans that look classy and feel nice! . At first I wasn’t sure and actually had a return started. But I wore it around the house for 30 min or so and started to feel different. I’m up to about 20 hours of wear now and I’m glad I did not send it back!!
