Our timeless denim jacket, inspired by the original type 1 trucker jacket has undergone various tweaks to the details to bring this classic into 2024, Kato Style.
We've streamlined the design by eliminating back pleats and the cinch back for a sleeker modern feel. We included a pen slot in the front pocket for easy access (perfect for your shades). Hand warmer pockets have also been added, an essential for any denim jacket. Wrapped in the new coated selvage, this will be your ride or die for late nights in the city, long rides down the highway, or even just adding a little attitude to your daily commute.

Our exclusive 4-Way Stretch Selvedge denim is woven to replicate the texture and feel of vintage denim while adding stretch for more comfort. The raw denim is washed using bleaching techniques to soften up and age the fabric. Then, we use hand sanding and laser print technology to replicate the distinct fades that come with years of actual wear, paying close attention to the fading of natural crease lines.
