Description

This is one of our 100% cotton jeans. The undyed cotton keeps its natural characteristics. During the combing process, we left some of the cotton seeds in the cotton before spinning it into yearn. You can seed tiny flecks through the fabric, which gives it a beautiful natural look. Keeping in tune with nature we choose a green selvedge ID. For our 100% cotton denim we constructed the jeans using a button fly for a classic look and a clean white leather patch.

Shrinkage

Raw denim has up to 2% shrinkage while it would be 1% for washed denim after wash but they will also stretch out again by being worn over time.

These jeans are incredibly comfortable. I specifically got these for hiking. I have 4 pairs of Katos, as well numerous other brands. The Katos are by far the most comfortable and never leave rotation like the others. As comfortable as 5 year old jeans right out of the box.

Finally tried the non-stretch denim, glad I did…

I’ve been looking at these for a while, debating about trying a non-stretch pair of Kato jeans. I’m glad I finally did. Notable difference in how they feel due to being non-stretch - not in a bad way at all, just more like traditional denim instead of stretch denim. I noticed snugness more when sitting and bending at the knee, etc., compared to a new pair of stretch denim. I was able to take the same size, however. Very happy with the quality, top-notch denim, and the usual great Pen Slim fit. Highly recommend; based on my experience with these, the next pair of keto jeans, I buy will be the matching 100% cotton raw blue. Regarding this color specifically, it’s a great nice casual choice when you can’t or don’t want to wear shorts in warm weather. Looks great with Converse, loafers, or even boots.

Great color

I love the color on these. They're a little tight out of the box and the button/zipper thing can be a pain at first. These pants look great tho!

Great material, (mostly) great cut.

I’m a slim guy, 5”11, 31” waist. While the legs on these are a perfect slim for me (snug in the thighs, a little loose below the knee), it’s worth noting they’re mighty snug around the boys. Hoping they break in and stretch enough to be comfortable. Just wish it wasn’t that part of my anatomy doing the stretching. Quality definitely seems top notch tho.

Product request: maybe offer zippers? Button fly seems cool until you’re wearing a belt and have to pee!
