Our premium denim is inspired by the classic vintage blue jean. Our Premium Japanese 4-Way Stretch Selvedge denim story starts in Japan where our fabric is developed at one of the oldest denim mills. We blend a unique 4 way stretch material with selvedge denim to create a specific amount of stretch and comfort you wouldn’t typically get with selvedge denim. This 360 degree of stretch gives the wearer comfort from every angle no matter what they are doing.

Our 4-Way Stretch selvedge fabric is weaved using vintage shuttle looms. Rolls of denim fabric are then brought into our workshop in Los Angeles where each pair goes through a 60 to 90 day process of cut, sew, washing and testing. With 4 fits available in multiple weights (see fit guide) and washes, the style options are endless.

Shrinkage

Raw denim has up to 2% shrinkage while it would be 1% for washed denim after wash but they will also stretch out again by being worn over time.

Fantastic fit. Perfect weight. No break-in required.

These jeans immediate vaulted to the top of my rotation. They have the quality feel that you want from selvedge denim, but they're not stiff and uncomfortable as is so often the case. They don't require a lengthy break-in period that often comes with jeans of this quality.

Does the job.

Coming out of heavy non-stretch denim it's taken time to get used to these being so stretchy, but I'm slowly getting there. They are comfortable for sure. I do wish the black were offered in something heavier in the hammer because they are a bit thin, especially when youre used to 21oz and 23 oz...they feel like tissue paper. If they were offered in a heavier weight I'd definitely be a life customer.

Great fit!

First order and I really like them. Hoping the denim keeps its shape over multiple wearings (rather than stretching out in the seat like a lot of denim/poly blend jeans). Glad I found these!
