Description

Our premium denim is inspired by the classic vintage blue jean. Our Premium Japanese 4-Way Stretch Selvedge denim story starts in Japan where our fabric is developed at one of the oldest denim mills. We blend a unique 4 way stretch material with selvedge denim to create a specific amount of stretch and comfort you wouldn’t typically get with selvedge denim. This 360 degree of stretch gives the wearer comfort from every angle no matter what they are doing.

Our 4-Way Stretch selvedge fabric is weaved using vintage shuttle looms. Rolls of denim fabric are then brought into our workshop in Los Angeles where each pair goes through a 60 to 90 day process of cut, sew, washing and testing. With 4 fits available in multiple weights (see fit guide) and washes, the style options are endless.

Shrinkage

Raw denim has up to 2% shrinkage while it would be 1% for washed denim after wash but they will also stretch out again by being worn over time.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, You may return or exchange the items within 21 days from the date the order is shipped out.

Once your order with the hemming request is brought to our tailor, the order will not be refundable.

Denim wash and linen spray are not eligible for return or exchange.

International orders (outside from the US) are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Great fit!

These fit and feel of these jeans are perfect for me. I used the hemming service and it was on point. I think it’s pretty rad I can get the jeans tailored through the website! Im definitely a fan! Thanks for a great pair of jeans!

HK’s The Pen Slim – Indigo Raw makes an excellent choice for a turned-up cuff jean look. Often dark indigo is on the stiffer side, not these, very comfortable. As a very particular person (at age six in 19** I told my mom to get my new jeans with a beltloop in the center of my back so the belt would not ride up above the jeans. It has not ended…). Hiroshi Kato is now my go-to jean.

Great Jeans

I had been looking for a great pair of jeans for a long time. The material is great and also the thickness. They look and feel like a true pair of jeans and the stretch really helps them feel more comfortable. I appreciate that they have several colors and thickness to choose from. I already have 2 pairs but will be getting more in the future.

Best Jeans - One Nitpick

I have been trying various selvedge jeans looking for the best fit and Hiroshi Kato crushed it in every way. Love the style, color options, and fit. My one nitpick is the depth of the front pocket bags. They are extremely shallow/short. If they are trying to deter people from putting their phones in them, mission accomplished. I'm not here for fashion fades and would actually like to use my pockets for phone, wallet, keys, and pocket knife or other EDC items. These are 5 star jeans all day long with quality denim but I am confused why they would make the pockets so small and skimp on that detail. I'm not a huge fan of the offset belt loop in the back (looks like a mistake almost), but I can tolerate it and it certainly sets them apart more.
