I was gifted a pair of these, sz 31 raw indigo/black and absolutely love them! I know raw does shrink a bit after first soak/wash, and they fit perfectly after that. I picked up 3 pairs for myself, Keith, Rain and Black raw. The Keith borders on not even being slim in the slightest, a little less stretch (expected as its 14oz vs 10.5) and the rain feels soft but is slightly smaller fit than the Keith and a weird boxy like fit between the raw and Keith wash. They are all the same size! I love the black and indigo raw ones, but it's hard taking a chance online, having them hemmed, to find the inconsistencies in fit by wash and cant return. Pretty bummed, but my suggestion is to try each wash first before hemming. I'll still *maybe* give Kato another try because they are a great material and the raw is prefect.Just a bit sour after over $600 and alterations and cant wear them. I've spent SO much money on jeans and brand and fits, and the pen raw is up there for me. For reference, 5'6", 155 lbs never skip a workout, especially legs, and the scissors are tight on calves, pens (non raw) are apparently not narrow enough at the bottom and the needle wouldn't even fit over my arse.

Love the fabric, love the color! The stretch a little more than the 14oz. Consider sizing down.

I was hesitant but I’m glad I purchased. I have bought and tried other selvage denim. The break in period was for me. But these!!! Right out of box I fell in love and didn’t want to take them off. Just as comfy as a pair of sweats. No restricted movement. The stretch is amazing!! I can’t wait for them to wear in even more. Already scouting my next pair!!

Fit's great, the stretch is comfortable but still maintains the look of quality denim. I bought a pair of raw indigo in the same fit and equally impressed. I have the Pen Slim-gray raw 10.5 in my cart right now :)
