Our premium denim is inspired by the classic vintage blue jean. Our Premium Japanese 4-Way Stretch Selvedge denim story starts in Japan where our fabric is developed at one of the oldest denim mills. We blend a unique 4 way stretch material with selvedge denim to create a specific amount of stretch and comfort you wouldn’t typically get with selvedge denim. This 360 degree of stretch gives the wearer comfort from every angle no matter what they are doing.

Our 4-Way Stretch selvedge fabric is weaved using vintage shuttle looms. Rolls of denim fabric are then brought into our workshop in Los Angeles where each pair goes through a 60 to 90 day process of cut, sew, washing and testing. With 4 fits available in multiple weights (see fit guide) and washes, the style options are endless.

Crafted with intention, our denim is made using premium Japanese 4-way stretch selvedge in our Los Angeles workshop. Our denim goes through a time consuming 50 day process from start to finish to ensure the highest of quality. Best jeans money can buy.

This os my first high end pair of jeans and they do not disappoint. The fit is comfortable and people compliment me on the quality and look of the jeans (which has never happened for me with a pair of pants before). I was considering getting raw denim but seeing as I am only able to wear jeans on the weekends this washed pair is more convenient. I plan on getting a pair of chinoa from this company as well.

I'd sleep in the rain if I had to.

Wearing them right now. Deep dark Indigo fading nicely. These are the jeans that go with every piece of clothing. The color is beyond perfect. Honeycomb and whiskers galore
I'm 6 foot, 180 lbs and pen slim 33 are what I buy. They're slightly tight and allows me to carry my pistol everyday inside the waistband. Super happy with Kato.
