These jeans fit me really perfectly in size 31, and the grey color is super unique. This is my favorite pair of jeans out of all of the ones that I have from Kato. My only wish is that it would be released in 14oz denim if that is possible. Otherwise these are literally perfect!

I wasn't sure how the gray denim would look in person, but I am super pleased! These have a rugged, yet somewhat expensive appeal to them. I was looking for a comfortable, but well-crafted jean to mix it up with the usual blue...these delivered! I'm starting to build a multiple pair collection of raw, selvage denim. These are truly one of my favorite right now.

I am not rocking huge quads here and the waist is definitely right but the thighs and business parts space is tight. I’m not sure what eunuch with skinny legs model these are made for but damn. The seam at the lower crotch started to fail in a week … give the boys some space !! I wanted to love these. The stretch and style are superb. I don’t want baggy jeans but man who fits in these?

It killed me when J Brand jeans went out of business. I have been looking for nearly 2 years for a replacement of my then favorite jeans. I now have found Kato Jeans.
Let’s start with the material. Light enough (10.5 oz) to be cool on warm days but heavy enough to be warm on cool days. The denim is also durable but has a nice “new sheen” to it. They look stylish and relaxed at the same time. Easy to dress up or down with corresponding shoes/shirt. The fit is also great. I have a 29 inch waist but large thighs. These jeans are cut slim but both waist and thighs fit comfortably. Usually it’s one or the other. The jeans are 96% cotton and 4% polyurethane. Just enough stretch to give when moving/bending or walking but by no means do they fit tightly or look like nylon/spandex. The components are also well thought out and engineered. The pockets are the right size and allow my hands in fully to the very bottom. I have a pair of Ermenegildo Zegna jeans that have pockets so tight I cannot get more than two fingers into them at a time. Seriously, they seem just to be decoration. The zipper is also a treat: nice heavy duty, brass/metal. So much better than plastic zippers with teeth that clinch and handles that quickly break off. Or, button flies that have holes for the rivets that quickly stretch and then don’t hold the fly shut. I am 5’11” and the 33.5 inch inseam is the right amount of length. Just enough extra material from the calf to ankle so the jeans bunch just a bit on top of my shoes. If I wore boots I could probably roll them at the bottom of the legs. My only complaint is the large width of the belt loops: 2.5 inches. Fortunately I do not wear a belt with them because they fit so perfectly. But if you love your belts and they are not big and chunky they may look out of place. Would I buy another pair of Kato Jeans? Absolutely! Look forward to it!
