Our premium denim is inspired by the classic vintage blue jean. Our Premium Japanese 4-Way Stretch Selvedge denim story starts in Japan where our fabric is developed at one of the oldest denim mills. We blend a unique 4 way stretch material with selvedge denim to create a specific amount of stretch and comfort you wouldn’t typically get with selvedge denim. This 360 degree of stretch gives the wearer comfort from every angle no matter what they are doing.

Our 4-Way Stretch selvedge fabric is weaved using vintage shuttle looms. Rolls of denim fabric are then brought into our workshop in Los Angeles where each pair goes through a 60 to 90 day process of cut, sew, washing and testing. With 4 fits available in multiple weights (see fit guide) and washes, the style options are endless.

Shrinkage

Raw denim has up to 2% shrinkage while it would be 1% for washed denim after wash but they will also stretch out again by being worn over time.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, You may return or exchange the items within 21 days from the date the order is shipped out.

Once your order with the hemming request is brought to our tailor, the order will not be refundable.

Crafted with intention, our denim is made using premium Japanese 4-way stretch selvedge in our Los Angeles workshop. Our denim goes through a time consuming 50 day process from start to finish to ensure the highest of quality. Built using only the best available hardware with traditional machines and techniques, you are getting a true vintage inspired piece with a modern upgrade of comfort.

Worth the $

My first pair of indigo needle and expectations were exceeded. They're not obnoxiously skinny and the fabric feels amazing. I trusted the reviews on something I would typically never buy without trying on and no regrets. Hopefully, some more color options on the way and I'll be buying another pair soon!

Amazing jeans

My 2nd pair of Kato selvedged jeans. Love these jeans, a unique color blend of black and indigo makes it really versatile with different colored tops. The stretch is perfect and the sturdiness leaves me confident these jeans will last for many years. Color contrast seam stitching is also a great touch! Highly recommend!
