We have just elevated our classic “The Blade'' Jacket with a 100% cotton, pure indigo dyed, corduroy fabric. We took this jacket even a step further to make something truly special by utilizing discharge printing to create palm tree pattern. This method of printing was used to add depth to the pure indigo dye and to highlight the texture of the thicker corduroy.

This fabric has been piece dyed and will slowly fade over time. For the finishing touch,the jacket has been garment washed to give it a broken-in look and feel. We spared no expense, and did not let cost get in the way of expressing our vision for this jacket. The result is a must have, standout piece for any indigohead.

I wasn’t sure if I’d like this jacket when I ordered, but Kato’s stellar customer service and efficient return policy made it a no-brainer to try. I was not disappointed! This version of the Blade jacket is amazing and extremely comfortable. I love their 4-way stretch products but also crave an occasional 100% cotton item such as this jacket and the Pen Slim Lou jeans. I’m not usually big on prints, but the printed-corduroy pattern is sublime and very nice looking. As with the entire Hiroshi Kato product line, the quality and attention to detail is amazing. If you appreciate a unique and well-made item, jump on this jacket soon. I’m guessing it will go fast, and based on it’s uniqueness, will not come back anytime soon.
