Our premium denim is inspired by the classic vintage blue jean. Our Premium Japanese 4-Way Stretch Selvedge denim story starts in Japan where our fabric is developed at one of the oldest denim mills. We blend a unique 4 way stretch material with selvedge denim to create a specific amount of stretch and comfort you wouldn’t typically get with selvedge denim. This 360 degree of stretch gives the wearer comfort from every angle no matter what they are doing.

Our 4-Way Stretch selvedge fabric is weaved using vintage shuttle looms. Rolls of denim fabric are then brought into our workshop in Los Angeles where each pair goes through a 60 to 90 day process of cut, sew, washing and testing. With 4 fits available in multiple weights (see fit guide) and washes, the style options are endless.

Shrinkage

Raw denim has up to 2% shrinkage while it would be 1% for washed denim after wash but they will also stretch out again by being worn over time.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, You may return or exchange the items within 21 days from the date the order is shipped out.

Once your order with the hemming request is brought to our tailor, the order will not be refundable.

Denim wash and linen spray are not eligible for return or exchange.

Fantastic Quality and Comfort

I have 2 pairs of Hiroshi Kato jeans and they are hands down the best jeans I own. I look forward to them aging as I wear them, and becoming even more comfortable than they are today. These are and will be my go to jeans from now on.

I git 10 kato burned in palisades fire.
I am in #3 on the way to get back to 10.
This should tell a lot.
14 ..size true..I ain't washing then for 1 year at least.

Great Jeans!

I first bought a pair in a size that 'should' have fit, but were tighter than I expected. I wasn't sure if the stretch would make them better so I returned and sized up. My wife commented, they look big, and I really could use a size in between. Despite that - these are great jeans. the 14 oz Raw was stiff as expected but softened up after a couple of days of wearing. I plan on wearing at least 50 times before washing. They are comfortable, are wearing well, and look great. I am curious about the fade so will take pictures of before, at the first wash, and after a year. I will be buying more Kato Jeans!
