Our premium denim is inspired by the classic vintage blue jean. Our Premium Japanese 4-Way Stretch Selvedge denim story starts in Japan where our fabric is developed at one of the oldest denim mills. We blend a unique 4 way stretch material with selvedge denim to create a specific amount of stretch and comfort you wouldn’t typically get with selvedge denim. This 360 degree of stretch gives the wearer comfort from every angle no matter what they are doing.

Our 4-Way Stretch selvedge fabric is weaved using vintage shuttle looms. Rolls of denim fabric are then brought into our workshop in Los Angeles where each pair goes through a 60 to 90 day process of cut, sew, washing and testing. With 4 fits available in multiple weights (see fit guide) and washes, the style options are endless.

The Needle skinny fits smaller than our the Pen slim fit.

Does not carry smaller sizes

Like every jean brand out there, they do not carry smaller sizes. I, like many men out there, have a smaller stature (5'5", 125 lbs) and have problems finding a quality clothing brand that carries smaller sizes. My dream is to have a pair of selvedge jeans that fit just right. I have been looking for over 20 years, I have not found a single pair. It is disheartening not to find a jean that fits. I hope that one day this brand along with other jean companies will sell smaller sizes for men of smaller statures.

Great pair of jeans

Just discovered this brand. Great fit, great quality, simple, instant classics. I'm tall and skinny and tried both the Pen and The Needle and really liked the fit of the Needle. Not skin tight like most skinny fit jeans but not as loose fitting as a slim would be. Love these.

Great pants

I’m new to the selvedge denim thing. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. That being these jeans are great. I was a runner for many year so I got some chicken legs. These don’t make me feel like I’m swimming in my jeans. And I especially appreciate the stretch in them as well. 10 out 10, would recommend.
