The Pen Slim - Jett 14oz Selvedge

Our premium denim is inspired by the classic vintage blue jean. Our Premium Japanese 4-Way Stretch Selvedge denim story starts in Japan where our fabric is developed at one of the oldest denim mills. We blend a unique 4 way stretch material with selvedge denim to create a specific amount of stretch and comfort you wouldn’t typically get with selvedge denim. This 360 degree of stretch gives the wearer comfort from every angle no matter what they are doing.

Our 4-Way Stretch selvedge fabric is weaved using vintage shuttle looms. Rolls of denim fabric are then brought into our workshop in Los Angeles where each pair goes through a 60 to 90 day process of cut, sew, washing and testing. With 4 fits available in multiple weights (see fit guide) and washes, the style options are endless.

Crafted with intention, our denim is made using premium Japanese 4-way stretch selvedge in our Los Angeles workshop. Our denim goes through a time consuming 50 day process from start to finish to ensure the highest of quality. Built using only the best available hardware with traditional machines and techniques, you are getting a true vintage inspired piece with a modern upgrade of comfort.

Great jeans

These are my favorite pair of jeans. Very comfortable and a great dark wash. They’re also a good weight, not too heavy or too light. My only complaint is the right leg seams. They are not straight and twist a little down my leg. Not that big of a deal and not worth returning but I didn’t expect this for the price of these.

Found my perfect jeans (for now at least)

I've always loved the feeling of a little stretch in my denim, but that usually comes with a downside of lighter weight material. As hard as I am on my jeans this leads to ripping and tearing far sooner than I'd want (especially for the price I was paying). Some distressing is good, but after they rip, they start falling apart.

These jeans are wonderful! A little stretch but beefy in weight - no fear of ripping anytime soon! 100% Kato convert.

Overpriced Dad Jeans

Nice feeling material and well constructed. But, images of washes on website do not accurately represent the item received (and their customer service acknowledges this to be the case). Material stretches and loses shape after an hour of wear, resulting in what I can only describe as "dad jean" fit. Company does not stand behind the product and will not accept returns based on these issues with their clothing. Very disappointing.
