We have updated the historic French Army “Shore Jacket” of the 40s and 50s with a modern cut to create a more tailored fit. The four pocket coat is very functional without looking too utilitarian.

Designed to withstand heavy winds and ocean spray, we have waxed this tough Japanese Canvas to create a repellent shell against whatever your day throws at you. The dry wax is protective but does not feel sticky or waxy and has a nice soft hand feel. Waxed canvas is known for its distinct aging properties. As you wear this jacket, the creases in the canvas set in and the areas of surface contact darken while scuff marks slightly lighten the fabric. These effects create a look that is similar to the patina of a leather jacket and only gets better with age. “The Vice” jacket is detailed with Cat's Eye buttons and nylon lined cuffs and shoulders. Available in: Mustard, Juniper, and Taupe.
