Description

We based our military cargo pants on the original M-47 fatigues. These 6-pocket pants were worn during the 50s by the French army. We updated the classic full cut trousers with the modern slim straight cut found on our popular Axe Chinos.

Traditionally, these pants were made from heavy twill fabrics but we wanted something more versatile, so we constructed our fatigues with a 5% stretch oxford cloth, for more comfort and mobility. These fatigues have been garment dyed for a vintage look and feel.

The authentic flap pockets are fitted with snap buttons for easy access.
Available in beige, military green and charcoal.

• 95% cotton, 5% polyurethane

Actually finding “that pair” of pants you’ve been on the hunt for is over…!

The Nail stretch oxfords check every box. The skinny/slim cut with spot on stretch is how a pair of chinos should be worn. Their construction is insanely comfortable and can be styled on so many levels. The cargo pocket, while still functional, doesn’t balloon on the sides maintaining that fitted look. The sizing guidance is more detailed than any other brand I’ve come across but my first pair was still much bigger than expected. I sized down on my 2nd pair and think I could go down even once more on my next pair - which will happen. I definitely recommend opting for the inseam hem if needed as well. My only suggesion to the Kato team is for more info on the material that makes the item stretch. Had I known better I could have sized down from the jump but pleased all the same…So much so that I’ve written this review…a first for me. Officially a loyalist and looking forward to more HR in my closet.
