Kato’s respect for denim reaches back decades. Our years of experience and research resulted in our own version of the highly sought after denim of the 50s. We crafted this fabric with meticulous precision to replicate the uniform texture of the faded vintage denim collected for the Kato archives.

Kato 4-Way Stretch Selvedge has the fit, quality, and comfort that will earn the approval of even the most seasoned denim-heads. Woven on vintage shuttle looms at our Japanese Mill, this denim has the perfect amount of 360º movement and is more comfortable than any other selvedge jeans on the market. All of our jeans are proudly made in America.

Just like a pair of old trustworthy jeans handed down from your dad, this pair emulates years of wear. It has lived through it all and has the fades to tell the story. The slightly tinted fades authentically replicate the real look of a pair that is heavily worn but well-kept. The 14oz 4-Way Stretch will give any vintage denim a run for its money in the comfort department while being just as durable.

Shrinkage

Raw denim has up to 2% shrinkage while it would be 1% for washed denim after wash but they will also stretch out again by being worn over time.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, You may return or exchange the items within 21 days from the date the order is shipped out.

Once your order with the hemming request is brought to our tailor, the order will not be refundable.

Denim wash and linen spray are not eligible for return or exchange.
