The Vise Speckle Wool - Navy

We have updated the historic French Army “Shore Jacket” of the 40s and 50s with a modern cut to create a more tailored fit. The four pocket coat is very functional without looking too utilitarian.

For this latest iteration of the Vise, we flipped the script on the classic and used a Japanese Color Nep fabric. This 35% Wool, 45% cotton, and 20% Polyester blend is the perfect balance to create a soft, warm and durable jacket that will hold up against the elements.

Delivers on the speckle, but pricey.

I love a good fleck and the colors are perfect. This is my first Hiroshi Kato purchase. Looks great, just like the photo. More of a shacket than a jacket, which I expected. However, a bit too pricey, you’d probably be better off buying one of their speckled cotton shirts. Not soft, you can really feel the 35% wool, scratchy; I wish the sleeves were lined. I purchased a small; I’m 5’ 7” and 150 lbs. It fits great, but if I put on 10+ lbs it might be too tight.
