The Scissors Slim Tapered - Cole 10.5 oz Selvedge

Our premium denim is inspired by the classic vintage blue jean. Our Premium Japanese 4-Way Stretch Selvedge denim story starts in Japan where our fabric is developed at one of the oldest denim mills. We blend a unique 4 way stretch material with selvedge denim to create a specific amount of stretch and comfort you wouldn’t typically get with selvedge denim. This 360 degree of stretch gives the wearer comfort from every angle no matter what they are doing.

Our 4-Way Stretch selvedge fabric is weaved using vintage shuttle looms. Rolls of denim fabric are then brought into our workshop in Los Angeles where each pair goes through a 60 to 90 day process of cut, sew, washing and testing. With 4 fits available in multiple weights (see fit guide) and washes, the style options are endless.

Our denim goes through a time consuming 50 day process from start to finish to ensure the highest of quality. Built using only the best available hardware with traditional machines and techniques, you are getting a true vintage inspired piece with a modern upgrade of comfort.

Perfect fade

I’ve wore these jeans every day for since I received them. The are the perfect shade of black and that turns to almost a charcoal with wear. 10.5 oz fabric feels amazing. Perfect stretch.

Combined comfort with a great cut

When I see "stretch" in a description for jeans there is a big level of skepticism for me, maybe from living through the era of "jeggins" and what that travesty looked like. Somehow, these jeans cut through this stereotype for me. Yes, they are very comfortable, but they also manage to hold their form and the cut (which is exactly as the picture on the model on the site looks like) holds it's form even after wearing over and over. Sizing was dead on, which is very helpful when ordering online only because it's a risk with jeans.

My only criticism would be how easily lint and dog hair attaches itself to the denim. I have 2 dogs and have had to wipe down with a damp cloth a bit before leaving the house. This is true of some of my black sweatshirts as well and more the fault of me owning a shedding dog (which i'm perfectly ok with for that companionship). But just be warned if you're a pet owner this might be a slight drawback.

Far and away the most comfortable, and best looking jeans I have ever worn.

Wow, I excepted these jeans to be great, but what I received exceeded my exceptions. They fit, and look like no other, the colorway is spot on. What really took me back, is how comfortable these are. They are as comfortable as your favorite pair of sweats, but they are jeans. The price point is very high, however the jeans are well worth the money. Extremly happy with this purchase, and am looking forward to adding more Hiroshi Kato to my wardrobe.

Best I’ve ever worn.

I wore the same brand for 10+ years. Then the manufacturer changed the material composition and I had to start over. I tried on a lot of jeans before landing on these. Ultimately it wasn’t close.
